Joel Mishler the the Business Department Chair and has been teaching at NorthWood High School since the 2004-2005 school year. He teaches Business Foundations, Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship, Building Wealth & Life Long Financial Planning, and Accounting.
He and his wife, Kim, have three children: Nic , Zac , and Hannah.
He attended Westview High School. He later went on to study at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated with a degree in Business Management.
He has previously worked as an entrepreneur. He owned and operated a restaurant, bakery, and Bed & Breakfast business for 21 years. He was also a head college baseball coach for ten years as the head coach at Glen Oaks C. C. He is currently an associate scout for the Florida Marlins, and a partner in the Indiana Chargers Baseball Academy located in Goshen, Indiana.
