Eric Criss began teaching at NorthWood in the fall of 2009. Originally from West Salem, Ohio, he graduated from Northwestern High School. Eric continued his studies at Grace College in Winona Lake, IN. While at Grace College, Eric was a member of Grace Brass, Grace Community Orchestra, Lancer Pep Band and several musical productions. Some of Eric’s best experiences in college include traveling out of the country to Mississinewa, Canada and Quito, Ecuador. Eric graduated from Grace College in 1999 with degrees in Music Education and Music Performance. Eric completed his Masters of Music degree from Ball State University.
In addition to his full-time duties at NorthWood, Eric serves as adjunct faculty advisor to the Lancer Pep Band at Grace College. From 2001-2011 Eric has spent many summers performing in the pit orchestra at the Wagon Wheel Theatre in Warsaw, IN.
Eric is a member of Music Educators National Conference, Indiana State School Music Association, Indiana Bandmasters Association, and the International Trumpet Guild. Eric and his wife Rochelle live in Warsaw with their three children: Graham, Grant and Ainsley.
