Miss Tori Sauceda:

“Music can change the world, because it can change people.” – Bono

“Music is a more potent instrument than any other for education because rhythm and harmony find their way into the inward places of the soul.” – Plato

I became an official Bulldog at Nappanee Elementary in 2019 after graduating from Indiana University South Bend. While some might remember my time in fifth grade, I am thrilled to be singing, dancing, and learning with our Nappanee friends every day. During our music classes, students work with different instruments, musical pieces, rhythms, note recognition, learn different life skills and performance based skills, and apply music to all the different subjects throughout their school day. I love seeing students learn a song for the first time, recognize a note value that we have been working on, connect a music concept to math, or simply grow in confidence throughout the school year. I see all NES students once every week, but I love my high fives and hugs in the hallways! I value every student and every music level that enters my classroom and I hope that they leave my classroom inspired by what music can do! Keep singing, Bulldogs!
