NWMS Humanities class selected for Climate Action project

The NWMS Humanities class, taught by Val Anglemyer and Steve Bowser, was selected in the Climate Action project for 2017! Two hundred schools from over 59 countries will participate and NWMS will represent Indiana and the United States!

The project will start on October 2nd and it will last four weeks.

During the project, students will conduct research, brainstorming, discussion about four topics. They will present and share their findings via a presentation or video. Climate Action (http://www.climate-action.info) will use a shared document where students can find more information (resources, etc). There will be a website where all entries will be published.

During the last project, 50 schools from over 37 countries participated and the website was visited by ten thousands of people from over 80 countries. That project was presented to several prime ministers and covered by newspapers in nine countries.
