NorthWood High School's own Whoosh Force finished 3rd in the state and 31st in the nation in the 2019 Girls Go CyberStart challenge, a cybersecurity skills-based competition designed to encourage girls to become critical thinkers and explore a potential career in the growing field of cybersecurity. The top three teams were recognized by Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch on July 24 at the Cybertech Midwest Conference in Indianapolis.
