NORTHWOOD HIGH SCHOOL - MORNING ANNOUNCMENTS

-Any girls wishing to play golf next fall should stop and see Coach Yoder in room 907 as soon as possible

-Attention all former lifeguarding students. Mrs. Fervida is hosting a lifeguarding class from 8-10AM the next 4 Saturday morning. (April 17 and 24, May 1 and 8th). You must sign up in the pool hallway and attend all 4 sessions to become certified. This lifeguarding class is only for the fall lifeguards who were unable to certify and any former lifeguarding that needs to be renewed for summer employment. Please sign up in the pool hallway today.

- Yoder Kitchen Corp is starting an apprentice program to take students either still in school or newly Graduated and start training them in the art of Fine Woodworking and milling!  They will teach them a skilled trade while paying you and giving you a trade that you will enjoy and make a great living at.    Yoder Kitchen is offering top pay and benefits and a great working environment. Please reach out to them if you are interested.

-Davey Coach is expanding and looking for talent who is interested in the automotive industry. They are looking for students who have been in some type of mechanic program. They are based in Colorado, but have a smaller shop in the New Paris area. They would love to collaborate to get the word out to students who may be graduating of this opportunity. -There is an important meeting for seniors in the auditorium during homeroom today.

-Attention Juniors and Seniors: There will be a brief prom club meeting during homeroom on Wednesday in room 818. Please plan to attend. 

Fellowship of Christian Students will be meeting at 7:30 before school this Friday morning in the choir room. It will be a time of worship and encouragement. We would LOVE to see anyone there who can make it!”

NorthWood Baseball returns to action on Friday as Senior Landon Kemp takes the mound vs visiting Fairfield. Fans who come to the game have a chance to receive our 2021 Road to 501 White Tee that can be worn at our WHITE OUT game on Saturday. The Panthers will host #4 ranked Western with the first pitch at 1pm.

-Students interested in running for Student Council for the 2021-22 school year should pay attention to their emails and Skyward Access Portals. Applications have been sent and you may print them, complete them, and submit them to Mr. Risedorph by April 23rd. If applications are not submitted you will not be able to run or join student council for the 2021-22 school year.
