NWHS Morning Announcements: Friday, Feb. 14th, 2020normal'>ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: the bright pink Early Release Waivers need to be signed by a parent or guardian and returned to school so you may leave at 2:25 pm on Friday, Feb. 21st. Waivers should be placed in the box outside of the Main Office on Monday. Waivers MUST be returned by the start of 1st period on Feb. 21st. All buses will run at the normal times. If you don’t have a 5th period class, you may pick up the waiver in the MAIN OFFICE.

normal'>Today’s schedule is posted around the school with our homeroom dismissal at 2:15 pm followed by the pep rally.

normal'>Sweetheart Dance tickets: may still be purchased for $3 through lunch. Tickets at the door are $5.

The annual Red Regiment Backyard Bar-b-que fundraiser is TONIGHT from 5-7 pm in the cafeteria. Enjoy a taste of summer in February with burgers, brats & hot dogs along with your favorite cookout side dishes! Tickets are $6 each and are available at the door.

Loveway, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that uses Therapeutic Equestrian Services to benefit those with special needs within our community. Currently, they need volunteers for the upcoming spring semester. The volunteer minimum age requirement is 16 years old. Ms. Arica will be here on Tuesday, Feb. 18th during all lunch periods to speak with anyone interested in more information.

normal'>FFA members need to stop by Mrs. Beer’s room to pick up a worker auction form.

normal'>Girls Track Practice will begin Monday, February 17 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Activity Center.  You must have an IHSAA physical completed and turned in before you are able to practice.

normal'>Painting 1 students from 1st trimester students: Come get your oil and acrylic painting in Mrs. McGowen’s room!

normal'>FCDC Souper Bowl Work Day: You’re invited to produce soup bowls for the FCDC Soup for A Cause event at: Coppes Commons. 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturday, February 22nd.  See Miss Emenhiser to pick up a permission slip.

The Cultural Diversity Club is hosting a guest-speaker night featuring Mrs. McGowen, Mrs. Willsey, and more. They are going to talk about the influence diversity and culture have had on their lives thus far. Come join us for an enriching evening of the importance of diversity. Join us on February 27 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the NorthWood Middle School LGI. Refreshments will also be provided. This is a free event, and ALL ARE WELCOME. We hope to see you there.
