Announcements: Wednesday, Jan. 15th, 2020The Varsity Girls Basketball team improved
to 18-2 overall last night with a 49-23 win against Tippecanoe Valley in the
PIT. Alea Minnich had 14 points and Kendal Miller had 13 to lead the
scoring. Thanks for all the support in the student section last night.
The girls can clinch at least a tie for the NLC title with a win on Saturday
night at Northridge.
Juniors: Course requests are now
open in Skyward. Mrs. Birr emailed your appointment time & date. Please
have as much of this completed before your appointment as possible. Stop by the
counseling office if you have questions.
All students: Please old food out of your lockers.
Seniors: The Community Foundation
of Elkhart County is now accepting 2020 scholarship applications. You can
open the door to 25+ scholarships with ONE application. Students
enrolling in part-time and full-time studies at two-year and four-year schools
will be considered for a broad range of scholarships for tuition and academic
fees. The deadline is MARCH 2nd. This is an
outside organization and they will not consider late applications. The
link to apply has been emailed to you. Stop by the counseling office if
you need help or have any questions.
NorthWood will be
offering the ACT
at school on Tuesday, February 25th at 8:00 am. Space
is limited. Bring $45.50 in a check or cash to the Counseling Office to
reserve your spot. Fee waivers cannot be used for this test
administration. The last day to sign up is Thursday, January 16th.
All Juniors with a GPA of
3.5 or
above are invited to apply to become a member of the National Honor Society. Applications can be picked up in the
media center, and all applications are due January 24th
Save
the date for the annual All-You-Can-Eat Nelson’s Dinner on Friday, January 31 from 4:30-7:30 in the cafeteria.
Proceeds benefit the NorthWood Academic Teams, BPA, and National Honor Society.
