NORTHWOOD HIGH SCHOOL - MORNING ANNOUNCMENTS

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2020

 

 

  • Key Club will begin meeting this Wednesday during homeroom. Key Club is a service club. Any student is welcome to attend the meeting

 

  • Any student who would like to order a music letter jacket this year can get ordering information in the Performing Arts Office. Forms and money are due Thursday, October 8. See Mrs. Pauls in the Performing Arts Office if you have questions

 

 

  • Auditions for the Fall Theatre Production will be held tonight, September 28th in the auditorium! There is a sign-up sheet on the Theatre Office door in the Performing Arts Hallway.  See Mrs. Pauls if you have questions.

 

 

  • Northwood FFA will have a meeting during homeroom on Wednesday, September 30th.  Please make sure you bring your computers to the meeting.

 

 

  • Chlorine is my cologne, Divers reach new heights; Not all athletes wear shoes; Instant swimmer: just add water; If you think your sport is hard, try doing it holding your breath!  If you say any of these about yourself, please join the Swim and Dive Call outs on Wednesday, September 30th during homeroom on the Panther pool deck. We will have important seasonal information and dates; And remember; In the pool, life is cool because dive and swim rule.

 

  • Congrats to The Competition cheer first competition of season Saturday. They took first place in Traditional Routine and Second Place In Game-day routine at Spirit Up/Purdue University. 
  • Congratulations to the boys cross country team for winning the double A division of the New Haven Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.  The boys ran a top five average time of 17 minutes and 25 seconds for the 5 kilometer distance.  Well done runners!

 

  • The Girls Golf team is going to STATE after a 2nd place finish in the regional on Saturday!  The state finals will be Friday and Saturday this week in Carmel!  Good luck girls!

  

  • NOW FOR HOMECOMING INFORMATION:

As you move through the halls this week, please do not touch decorations.

Tonight is kickball! You will be competing as a grade level! Be sure to check the Homecoming Newsletter from last week to sign up. You must be pre-registered and bring your email receipt to every activity to participate! Registration for events end at 2:30pm each day.

King and Queen voting is open. Be sure to check your email to cast your vote! Tomorrow’s dress up day is hat day! It is the ONLY day you are permitted to wear hats this week. It will also be Trivia Night tomorrow night, so grab some friends or even recruit a teacher and sign up!

Congratulations to Senior Thalia Mora for being named the Nappanee Youth Body Advisor. She will serve on the city government’s council as a representative to the youth of Nappanee. Currently serving as an intern for the city, she will be taking up the role of the Youth Body Advisor immediately. Thank you for your service Thalia and Congratulations
