NORTHWOOD HIGH SCHOOL - MORNING ANNOUNCMENTS

  • ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! There are a lot of Homecoming announcements coming your way! Round 2 of Homecoming Voting is open! The round ends today at 2pm! Winners will be announced at the end of the day! Don’t forget, you must register online for every event you’d like to attend. If you don’t pre-register, you will not be permitted to attend.

Homecoming T-Shirt Sales end this Sunday! Be sure to submit your order. You can find information in the Homecoming Newsletter.  Heading into homecoming week, we will have a lot of fun activities planned! One activity is going to be a scavenger hunt! Look out for details heading into your emails this weekend

 

  • Hey 9th graders, high school is all about figuring out your interests and making a plan.  How many of you can get to California without Google Maps?   Probably not many of you.  And you won’t reach your college and career goals if you don’t have a high school graduation plan.  Do you know which classes you plan to take, which diploma you’ll earn and how to complete your Graduation Pathways?  These things matter when it comes to college!  Make sure you’ll be ready to apply for college.   Talk to your school counselor for more information.

 

  • The Elkhart County College Fair that was to be held at Goshen High School on September 28TH has been cancelled.

 

  • Any student who would like to order a music letter jacket this year can get ordering information in the Performing Arts Office. Forms and money are due Thursday, October 8. See Mrs. Pauls in the Performing Arts Office if you have questions

 

  • Auditions for the Fall Theatre Production will be held Monday evening, September 28th in the auditorium! There is a sign-up sheet on the Theatre Office door in the Performing Arts Hallway.  See Mrs. Pauls if you have questions.

 

  • FFA t-shirt order forms are due by today at the end of the day. Northwood FFA will have a meeting during homeroom next Wednesday, September 30th.  

 

  • Chlorine is my cologne, Divers reach new heights; Not all athletes wear shoes; Instant swimmer: just add water; If you think your sport is hard, try doing it holding your breath!  If you say any of these about yourself, please join the Swim and Dive Call outs on 9/30 during homeroom on the Panther pool deck. We will have important seasonal information and dates; And remember; In the pool, life is cool because dive and swim rule

 

  • The 8th ranked NorthWood Boys Soccer team tied the #5 ranked Marian Knights last night 2-2 in a very hard-fought game. Kayden Newcomer scored both goals for the Panthers. The tie moves their record to 7 wins, 2 losses, and 4 ties on the season
