NORTHWOOD HIGH SCHOOL - MORNING ANNOUNCMENTS

- There will be a wrestling meeting in Room 501 during homeroom, Wednesday, October 14.
- The Boys Soccer Team won the Sectional Championship on Saturday night over Angola 2-0. The win moves the 8th ranked Panthers to 13-3-3 on the season. The boys will play Hammond Clark in the first game of Regionals on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Mishawaka Marian
- Congratulations to the boys’ cross country team on qualifying for regionals by placing 3rd at the sectional race on Saturday. A HUGE shout-out of thanks to the students who joined the hype squad at the meet and inspired our Panther runners. The boys and girls’ cross country teams will compete in regionals this Saturday at OxBow for a ticket to Semi-State. Great job runners.
- Once again the band has earned a GOLD rating from this past week’s virtual competition. Red Regiment has earned “With Distinction” in the areas of music and visual for the 2nd week in a row. Congratulations band!
- JUNIORS: Remember that now is the time to be selling magazines for the prom fundraiser! It is all on-line this year which makes it easy! All you need to do is give your friends and family the link to order. There will be a drawing for the top sellers to earn cash and if you sell $150 worth you can earn a free prom ticket! If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Evers or Mrs. Mathews! Get out there and sell!
