• The cafeteria is requesting all student making deposits in your lunch account please do so in the morning. Cashiers are available from 7:30am to 8:00am

• There will be a FFA Chapter Kickoff on Thursday 8/26 at 6:00 PM -7:30 PM at NorthWood Middle School. For an exact location, students need to sign up in Miss Henderson’s or Mrs. Allen’s room. 

• Attention all current Swim and Dive and all those interested in swim and dive, Coach Hawkins will be on deck this coming Thursday morning and Thursday afternoon with very important swim and dive information. This information will include practice schedules, team reminds, and something brand new for the season!  

• Homecoming court elections are under way. Please check your student e-mail to nominate representatives from your class for this year’s court. Voting ends at 2:45pm this Friday.

• The Lady Panthers Tee'd it up at Meadow Valley against NLC opponents, Goshen and Northridge. They walked away with 2 NLC wins and are perfect in the conference. Final Scores were NorthWood – 192, Northridge – 209, Goshen – 219.  Next for NorthWood: Thursday, August 26th vs. Plymouth and Wawasee, at McCormick Creek. 

• JV Volleyball defeated Fairfield 2-1 last night.  Our Varsity Volleyball Team battled back from being down 2-0 early. They went on to win 3 straight sets, taking down the state ranked #4 ranked Falcons! Alana Lehman had 12 kills, and Claire Payne had 10. Macy Lengacher ended the match with 35 digs, 4 aces, and 2 assists. The Red Slam are back in action this Saturday at the Prairie Heights Classic.
