- The Academic Teams had their 2nd invitational last Thursday. They placed 2nd overall but got 2nd place in both Social Studies and Science and 1st place in Math! Great job to all teams!
- This weekend, our NWHS robotics teams traveled to Indianapolis for the state championships. Net Force ranked 51st and 35th in skills. Momentum ranked 11th and made it to the Round of 16. They ranked 11th in Skills and won the Build award. Backlash ranked 3rd and made it to the final match finishing in second place. They finished 7th in skills and were awarded the Excellence Award. Teams Momentum and Backlash qualified for the World Championships for the first time in school history! Congratulations to all teams!
- Attention all Freshmen, Sophomore, and Juniors - If you are interested in being a part of the Student Council Committee for next year, please pick up an application from Mrs. Harrington in room 803 or Mrs. Porter in room 812 by Thursday, March 26th.
- The girls’ basketball program will have a call-out meeting on Wednesday, March 26th, immediately following the announcements. All girls who are interested in playing basketball next season should attend the meeting in Coach Burkhart’s classroom (Room 915).
- Anyone interested in playing football will need to attend a call out meeting Wednesday, March 26th in the LGI, Room 910.
Freshman and sophomores will meet during homeroom.
Juniors will meet immediately after school.
