Many thanks to those families who have already registered. We are grateful for your quick response as it has helped us prepare for the upcoming year. As it currently stands, we received a larger than expected number of families who have elected to continue with Remote Learning. Therefore, to help our staff provide better instruction to these families, we will
be utilizing our 30-minute early release schedule each day throughout the
2020-2021 school year. By design, teachers will use this time as office hours to prepare materials, communicate with families, provide supplemental video instruction, and post lessons for our Remote Learners.
The upcoming school year will be unlike any we have ever experienced, and changes will be inevitable and necessary as we adjust to meet these new challenges. Therefore, our home to school communication will continue to be a vital support. We encourage each of you to sign up for Skylert; our alert notification system through Skyward. It’s quick, it’s easy, and you can choose how you would like to be updated by using your Skyward
Family Access login to
change your options under the Skylert tab. Whether it’s by text, email, or voice messaging, you can stay informed and up to date on important parent/school notifications, emergencies, or weather-related school closings and delays.
Also, we ask that you please review the important information for parents to use when determining whether or not to send your child to school. Please, please, please follow this guidance. Our ability to stay open and offer in-person instruction is dependent upon our ability to identify and keep those that are sick at home.
If you need assistance with registration, signing up your child for Skylert, or would like a copy of your school’s daily schedule, please contact your child’s school or the Administration Building for assistance.
