This Friday, the 8th grade Art Show is from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the Surge here at the middle school.  Bring your family to check out the unique 2D artwork and clay display by our creative 8th-grade grade students.

Library books are due back to the library.  Any unpaid fine must be paid as soon as possible.

Wednesday is Mystery Guest Server Day in the cafeteria.  Hints will be posted each day to see if you can figure out who will be serving.  Good Luck

If you love to read and want a chance to earn prizes while doing it, sign up for the summer reading club with the Wakarusa Public Library.   Please grab an information flyer in the main office window to find out how to register.

6th Grade Only:
6th-grade grade student council members who were elected for the 2022-2023 school year: Please meet in the LGI this Friday during Advisory. Mr. Bowser and Mrs. Cramer will be there to discuss the 5th-gradeth grade tours and your responsibilities. 

7th grade ONLY:
2022-2023 student council applications are NOW available outside the office for current 7th graders and are due by Wednesday. Elections will take place in your ELA class on Thursday, May 12. The purpose of the NWMS student council is to develop leadership, encourage student involvement, and promote activities for the best interest of our school. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Cramer. We can’t wait for you to join us!

7th & 8th grade:
Current 7th and 8th-grades grade student council members: Please meet in the LGI this Thursday during Advisory. Mr. Bowser and Mrs. Cramer will be there to discuss the 5th Grade Olympics and your responsibilities.

8th grade ONLY:
Attention, 8th-grade grade boys planning to play freshman football, please see Mr. Mikel for a spring clinic form. The clinic is next Tuesday & Wednesday, from 3:00-4:45 PM.
 
All 8th-grade grade boys interested in playing High School Soccer, please come to the callout meeting on Wednesday, May 11th during your lunch.

Panther Athletic Results
On a warm and windy afternoon, the coed Golf Team of Colton Rouch, Collin Goss, Marley Jordan, Keaton Scott, and Brandt Rodes scored a 206 to place second out of seven schools in the Falcon Golf Invite. Colton Rouch earned fourth place medalist honors by carding a 46.
