The
Varsity BlackSwish won at Warsaw for
the 1st time since 2008 last night with a 43-38 win in the Tiger
Den. Congrats Ladies! The BlackSwish
hosts 7-1 Concord on Thursday night in the PIT. We’d love to have a huge
crowd!
Any
student interested in being involved with a new Trap Shooting Club should attend a meeting in the LGI
room on December 11 during homeroom. Mr. Dan Hummel will be here to
introduce himself as well as details for this new club opportunity here in
Nappanee.
The Yearbook
Staff wants YOUR words for use on the cover and throughout the book.
Check your school email for a link to fill out a quick survey by tomorrow’s
3:00 deadline. This is your chance to be covered the way you want to be.
Attention All Students:
If you have a planned absence for 2 or more days, you need to stop by the main
office and pick up a form and get it signed by teachers and parents. Thanks for
your cooperation.
Semi-formal tickets will be on sale
for $12 in the North Surge. The dance will be January 2nd at Amish Acres, 8 –
11 pm.
First trimester art
students:
Please check the table in North Surge outside of Mrs. McGowen’s room for any
left behind projects. Any project left on the table after Wednesday will be
thrown away.
Scholastic art students: Make sure you add your
work on scholastic Website this week and pick up the signed form from Mrs.
McGowen.
The NorthWood
Winter Guard will be hosting free dance clinics and tryouts for the 2020 Winter Guard team. The
clinic is in the band room. See the fliers in the north surge for more
details. Come check it out.
Do
you like to snowboard or snow ski? NWHS students can ski at swiss valley this
winter on Friday nights. NWHS ski and
snowboarding club fees are due Friday Dec. 6. Please contact Mrs.

The
Art Department is selling
blank cards and Christmas cards with student art work this month! Each card is
$2, and when you buy 10, you get a card free. We will have card writing station
in South Surge the week before Christmas, but you can pre-purchase to make sure
we don’t run out. To purchase, come see Mrs. McGowen in room 820.
The
Key Club meets today in the
cafeteria & be dismissed at this time.
