Announcements for 4.24.24

  • The annual school art show is on May 22nd & 23rd, Wednesday & Thursday. For any students who have taken art classes this year, it is time for you to bring back your work! Any senior who is interested in setting up a senior showcase can pick up the application in Mrs. McGowen’s room, Room 820.
 
  • If you need a prom dress, we have quite a few that have been donated by members of the community.  Please see Mrs. Wise in the office if you are interested in looking at the dresses.
 
  • All students that have applied to the Elkhart Area Career Center. Please stop by the Guidance office to see if you have gotten into the career center for next year. 
 
  • Students that have expressed interest in the free Ivy Tech courses that will be offered this summer will be emailed an appointment time to meet with the representative and enroll in courses.  Please check your email daily.
 
  • Seniors -- Applications for the Dreams Come True Scholarship are due on Friday.  You may pick up an application in the Guidance Office.  The Dreams Come True Scholarship is open to any Senior who going to attend college, vocational, or trade school after graduation.  $1000 per year for four years is available and awarded by the Kelsey Mikel Memorial Foundation.
 
  • This week, Key Club will be holding their “Tape a Teacher” fundraiser. There will be a table set up during the lunch hours for students to sign up and donate money. Each yard of tape will be $1 and will allow the individual to participate in tapping either Mr. Berg or Mr. Treesh to the wall in the cafeteria. This is bound to be an exciting opportunity so don’t miss your chance! If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Neverman or Mrs. Heldreth. 
 
  • The Tabletop Gaming Club will be meeting today, Wednesday April 24th after school from 2:15-3:15 in room 905. The Tabletop Gaming Club is a student organization that seeks to bring people together while creating positive experiences though cooperative gaming.
