Announcements for 4.11.24

  • Attention English Academic Team: we will be meeting after classes today in preparation for next week's competition. Everyone is expected to attend. See Coach Vorhis in Room 809 if you have a conflict. 
 
  • Northwood High School is having a blood drive coming up soon! It will be hosted in the upper gym, Wednesday May 1st, from 9:00AM-2:00PM. You can sign up at lunch from April 15 to April 27 or register with the QR codes on posters throughout the school. Every 2 seconds someone needs blood. Please donate. 
 
  • Freshmen and sophomores, tomorrow is the final day to vote for next year’s student council members. Make sure to check your email and choose the best representatives for your grade for the 2024-2025 school year.
 
  • The NorthWood Girls Track Team traveled to Mishawaka on Wednesday to take on Mishawaka and Northridge, and the Boys Track Team was at Plymouth to take on the Pilgrims and Northridge. In the girls meet, Northridge defeated NorthWood 87-45, and Mishawaka prevailed over the Lady Panthers 80.50 to 51.50. For the boys, NorthWood defeated Plymouth 87-44 but lost to Northridge 82-50. Both the Girls and Boys teams will be at Northridge on Saturday for the Carmon Cripe Relays.  Field Events begin at 9:00 am and the Track Events at 11:15.
 
  • Track practice today has changed.  Distance will still run after school.  Meet in the AC hallway by 3:10 pm.  Sprinters, Hurdlers, Jumpers, and Throwers will practice in the AC at 7:00 pm.
