1401, 1402, 1403 Cadet Teaching Experience
1 - 3 trimesters, Grades 11-12
Prerequisite - 3.0 GPA and teacher’s approval, available for two period block, and must provide own transportation.
This course gives students an opportunity to “test” their interest in becoming future educators. Part of the trimester is devoted to developing teaching skills and an awareness of current educational issues. Eight weeks are spent “on site” in an elementary or middle school classroom as an intern with a professional educator. Students should have a two hour time block available and have access to a car.
