- After the first day of the food drive, we’ve collectively raised 1,050 pounds worth of food towards our 13,000-pound goal. Mrs. Porter’s class is in the lead, averaging 112.5 points per student, with Mrs. Bontrager and Mr. Cramer sitting in 2nd and 3rd place. Tomorrow’s double point items are mayonnaise and peanut butter. Bring your donations to your 3rd hour class to help earn points towards a pizza party during finals week!
- The NorthWood High School Blood Drive will be held tomorrow! Sign up during your lunch or via the QR codes listed throughout the school.
- It’s not too late to enter the media center’s photo contest! Take a picture on your phone or camera of someone reading, and submit your photo by tomorrow, November 1st. All entries will receive a sweet treat, and the winners will receive Target gift cards. Pick up an entry form and the rules in the media center today!
- Congratulations to October’s Students of the Month! These students should stop by counseling to pick up their certificate and t-shirt: Agriculture – Andon Zehring, Business – Brian Melendez Lopez, English – Grecia Sanchez, FACS – Tytus Noyes, Industrial Tech – Diego Reyes, Math – Wendy Ben Sulugui, Performing Arts – Elijah Fouts, Phys Ed/Health – Mackayla Garner, Science – Gabriel Schrock, Social Studies – Anthony Neeson, Visual Arts – Landen Marshall, and World Language – Chloe Eash.
- All Boys playing basketball this winter there will be a meeting tomorrow morning in Coach Wolfe’s room at 7:47 am.
- There will be a meeting for Seniors and any Junior early graduates during homeroom tomorrow in the auditorium.
- The first Fine Art Academic team meeting will be Thursday, November 2 after school in room 602! If you are unable to attend, please see Mrs. Hershberger.
