Announcements 9.1.21

  • A reminder to all student’s: There is to be no backpacks taken to the classroom.  Please make sure you leave it in your locker.
 
  • There will be a Call-Out Meeting for students interested in joining the SPELL BOWL ACADEMIC TEAM on Friday at 7:45 a.m. in Room 809. All students are welcome. If unable to attend, see Mrs. Vorhis for information
 
  • Auditions for the Fall Theatre Production will be held in the auditorium next week on Tuesday and Thursday, September 7 & 9. Auditions begin at 6pm and will mostly consist of reading scenes and stage movement. Those interested only need to come to one night of auditions to be considered for any role. Check the bulletin board in the music hallway for more information. Hope to see you there!
 
  • Attention Athletes: As you are preparing for Limited Contact Practices for Winter and Spring Sports, you must have an updated physical on file in the athletic office in order to participate. No physical means no practice.
 
  • The second round of voting for Homecoming court has begun. Please check your student email and vote for your court representatives. Voting closes at 2:45pm this Thursday.
 
  • Homecoming shirts will go on sale during lunch periods this Thursday and will be sold through next Thursday. Cost is $10 and must be paid when you order. Don’t miss out on the chance to show your school spirit during Homecoming week!
 
  • Freshmen, it’s time to select your class officers! Use the link in your student e-mail to vote for your freshman class president, vice president, and secretary. Voting closes today at 11:45pm.
 
  • Bring Change To Mind will meet during homeroom in room 810 today.
 
  • The NorthWood Boys Tennis Team fell to Fremont 1-4, and our JV lost 3-9.
 
  • The Varsity Boys Soccer Team traveled to Lakeland and defeated the Lakers in dominating fashion, 8-0.
 
  • It was a clean sweep at Westview last night in Volleyball! The JV Team beat Westview 2-0, and the Varsity won 3-0.
 
  • The girls’ cross country team finished 3rd in the first NLC Round Robin last night at Ox Bow, and the Boys finished 4th overall barely getting edged out by Warsaw.
