  • Congratulations the the Girls and Boys Track Teams on both being runner-up in Class A at the Goshen Relays.  Great job Panthers!!!
 
  • This past Thursday, the NorthWood Choirs participated in the ISSMA Organizational Contest held at Concord High School.  After giving one of their strongest performances of the year, Freshman Choir, Concert Choir, and Dawning Generation were all awarded GOLD ratings from each of the judges for both performance and sight-reading.  Furthermore, Concert Choir and DG earned with prestigious “With Distinction” award, including a perfect score.  Congratulations to each of our choirs!
 
  • Seniors -- Applications for the Dreams Come True Scholarship are due on Friday.  You may pick up an application in the Guidance Office.  The Dreams Come True Scholarship is open to any Senior who going to attend college, vocational, or trade school after graduation.  $1000 per year for four years is available and awarded by the Kelsey Mikel Memorial Foundation.
 
  • Seniors and Junior early grads, your last Senior meeting will be Wednesday, April 24th during homeroom in the auditorium.
 
  • This week, Key Club will be holding their “Tape a Teacher” fundraiser. There will be a table set up during the lunch hours for students to sign up and donate money. Each yard of tape will be $1 and will allow the individual to participate in tapping either Mr. Berg or Mr. Treesh to the wall in the cafeteria. This is bound to be an exciting opportunity so don’t miss your chance! If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Neverman or Mrs. Heldreth. 
 
  • Northwood High School is having a blood drive coming up soon! It will be hosted in the upper gym, Wednesday May 1st, from 9:00AM-2:00PM. You can sign up at lunch now through April 27 or register with the QR codes on posters throughout the school. Every 2 seconds someone needs blood. Please donate. 
 
  • A callout meeting for Girl’s golf will be held during homeroom this Wednesday in Mr. Anglemyer’s room, 705.
 
  • Students, we have been experiencing messes left behind in the South Surge during breakfast and during lunch. At this time, all food must stay in the cafeteria. If you have food outside of the cafeteria, you will be asked to take it back to the cafeteria. If this is a recurring problem, we will issue school consequences. Please ensure you are cleaning up after yourself. Our custodial staff works hard to keep our building in excellent condition.
