From Start to Finish Wa-Nee Students Achieve Success

Elementary School

  • During the past three years, over 90-percent of third graders have shown proficiency in reading by passing the IREAD-3 state assessment. 
  • Each elementary classroom is equipped with Interactive Whiteboards to help teachers and students engage in technology-enhanced lessons.
  • A low student-teacher ratio and intervention programs like Leveled Literacy Intervention provide individual attention students need to learn the basic skills. 
Middle School
  • Posted the highest pass rates of all Elkhart County middle schools 2 years in a row.
  • Highly qualified staff using best learning practices for all students. 
  • Demonstrates consistently high ISTEP scores.
  • 1 to 1 technology for students in all Language Arts classes. 
High School
  • 4-star rating for the past 3 years in a row and an ‘A’ grade for 5 years in a row. 
  • Silver Rating from US News & World Report for the last 3 consecutive years. 
  • 1 to 1 technology for students in all Language Arts classes. 
  • Dual credits earned in 2010-11 were 951; in 2014-15 dual credits earned were 2198, demonstrates high level instruction and challenging curriculum opportunities for students. 
  • Academic Teams have competed in the State Finals every year since 1998, bringing home 17 State championships.
