Mrs. Shawna McIntyre:
I am a two-time Purdue graduate (Go Boilers!). I graduated from the Lafayette campus in 2000 with a B.A. in History and then again in December of 2009 from Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne with my B.S. in Speech Language Pathology. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology through the online program at Idaho State University. I discovered speech therapy through my husband’s aunt who is an SLP in West Virginia. I feel very blessed to be providing speech services for WaNee Community Schools.
I was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana and I met my husband at Purdue University back in 1998. My husband is from Bourbon, so that is where we moved when we got married. My husband is currently a detective with the Plymouth Police Department, and he also put in 12 years with the Bourbon Police Department. We have two children, a son and a daughter. My favorite pastimes are reading, traveling, riding horses, and spending time with our children and our dogs. We especially like having “Family Movie Nights”!
