For the sixth year in a row, the Tri Kappa Associate Chapter continued a winning tradition of organizing and serving a meal for the NorthWood High School Academic Team members and coaches. The meal was served on April 17, prior to the students boarding the bus for the AREA Competition at Northridge High School. The scores earned by individual teams at AREA determine whether or not the teams qualify to compete at the State Academic Super Bowl which will be held at Purdue University on May 5.
The NorthWood High School Academic Team members and coaches appreciate the hard work of this organization and consider it one of the traditions which has helped to bring success to the NWHS teams. The Tri Kappa Associates Chapter’s support for NWHS students prior to this competition has yielded excellent results over the years. During the past four years of their sponsorship, NWHS Academic Teams have sent twenty out of thirty individual teams to State.
