Melanie Fervida is a graduate of South Bend Washington High School, Purdue University and Olivet Nazarene University. She has a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education a Coaching Endorsement and a Master's degree in Education.

Mrs. Fervida has been teaching since 1999.  She has taught Physical Education, Lifeguarding, Fitness and Health and Advanced Physical Education at NorthWood. She strives to educate her students to become physically fit and live a healthy lifestyle.
