Mr. Burkhart has been teaching at NorthWood High School since 2022. He teaches Introduction to Business, Principles of Business Management, and he is the coordinator for the Work-Based Learning program.

Mr. Burkhart previously taught and coached basketball at Wawasee High School and Brownsburg High School. At both schools, Mr. Burkhart was an active advisor for their DECA club.

Mr. Burkhart graduated from the University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne, with a degree in Business Education. He is also licensed in Physical Education and has earned his certification for Career and Technical Education through Ball State University.

Mr. Burkhart is married to Natalie Burkhart.

He is also an enthusiastic fan of Notre Dame football and enjoys playing golf.
