Valarie Mathews is a NorthWood High School graduate. She attended Bethel College where she earned a Bachelors in Business Management.  She then attended IUSB where she received a Masters Degree in Special Education and is also licensed in Mathematics.

She was hired in 2008 as a Special Education Teacher.  Valarie is a Junior Class sponsor and co-hosts Prom.  

Valarie is married to Steve and has two children, Cate and Tyler.
