It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to you as the proud principal of NorthWood High School.  I am honored to be a part of your team and to become a part of your tradition of excellence.  I look forward to getting to know the school community; our students, our staff, parents, alumni, and friends of the school.  I am excited to listen to your ideas, learn and grow with you, offer support, communicate effectively, and lead with integrity.
As the principal at NWHS, I am committed to seeing that every student is supported and equipped with what he or she needs to be successful in the classroom and beyond.  To achieve this, it is my responsibility to put our teachers in the best possible position to succeed, which in turn, will put our children in the best possible position to succeed.  NWHS has a long-standing tradition of educational excellence which requires passion, dedication, and committed staff who value each student and support the whole student, not just the curriculum.  I am driven by my desire to establish meaningful and lasting relationships with all school community members.  I believe for these relationships to develop and thrive, there must be a foundation built on respect, support, and trust.
I come to you with over 14 years of combined educational and leadership experience.  Most recently, I served as the assistant principal at NorthWood Middle School during the 2020-21 school year, and as an assistant principal at Riley High School in South Bend, IN during the 2019-2020 school year.
On a personal note, I am a devoted husband to my beautiful wife, Jessica, and a proud father of three amazing children: Madelyn (10), Preston (3), and Boston (1).  I place great value on spending time with my family, and I understand the importance of being present in their lives.  Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I come from a family of educators.  My family and I are avid sports fans, and I am a diehard Pittsburgh Steeler fan.  I love to laugh and have fun while keeping a true perspective on what is important in life: serving others. I find great satisfaction in personal development and helping others strive to be their best. I am passionate, energetic, dedicated, and I love what I do.
