Scot Croner Superintendent
Welcome to Wa-Nee Community Schools
It’s an honor to serve as the superintendent for Wa-Nee Schools. Our community’s support of our students, staff, and faculty are second to none and are a major factor in our continued success.

With five schools in our corporation, we are constantly looking for ways to achieve maximum outcomes for our students. Our goals are to meet the needs of all learners, ensure that every student reaches his or her full potential, and to prepare our graduates to become leaders as they enter the workforce and/or enroll in college.

Whether you are just beginning your educational experience at Wa-Nee or are a member of our current graduating class, every student can and should expect their learning to be filled with purposeful and engaging activities led by a staff that is committed to each student’s post-secondary success.

Our district and students continue to receive recognition for excellence in academics, the arts, and through their participation on our athletic teams. These achievements are the result of our student’s hard work, the leadership of our school board, the dedication of our staff, our community’s unwavering support, and the positive contributions of our parents.

Our vision is to become the preeminent school system in the State of Indiana. Through strong instructional leadership, rigorous instruction, and collaboration, we are preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s challenges and to become our next generation of leaders.

Welcome to Wa-Nee Schools where Our Tradition is Excellence.

Sincerely,
Scot Croner, PhD
Superintendent of Schools
