Our plan to safely re-open and return to school is primarily focused upon identifying and mitigating exposures to COVID-19.  The WCS school board, led by the superintendent, the WCS administrative team, and staff have collaborated with appropriate stakeholders to focus on the immediate needs to prepare for school operations under the current pandemic.

As we move forward together, we are thankful for our community’s continued support as we keep our student’s health and safety in mind.

 

Wa-Nee Community Schools is offering free Wi-Fi access in designated parking lot areas at each of the five schools.  Our intention is for users to remain in their cars while using the Internet. Wa-Nee owned devices will connect automatically to the WCS-INT network.  All other devices should connect to “WCS Public WiFi”. Users will be prompted to acknowledge Wa-Nee terms and conditions and click the “Continue to the Internet” button before the connection will function.  No username or password is required to connect.

Comcast (Wakarusa residents only) is offering its Internet Essentials package for qualified low-income households at no cost for two months.  More information can be found on Comcast's website.
